Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have:
- A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
- Graduation must have been completed not earlier than 01 January 2023 and not later than 01 September 2026, both dates inclusive.
Other Important Eligibility Conditions
- Candidates must be Indian citizens.
- The candidate must register on the NATS apprenticeship portal before applying.

- A candidate can opt for training seats in only one State.
- Candidates must satisfy the local-language requirement applicable to the State selected.
- Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training with Canara Bank or another organization, or are currently undergoing such training, are not eligible under the stated conditions.
- Candidates with one year or more of training/job experience after completing the educational qualification are not eligible for engagement as Apprentice.

Selection Process
The selection will be based on a State-wise merit list prepared according to marks/percentage obtained in 12th Standard (HSC/10+2) or Diploma.
- Merit is prepared in descending order of percentage.
- In case of equal percentage, the candidate’s age is used for ranking in descending order.
- Minimum qualifying marks: 60%.
- For SC/ST/PwBD candidates: 55%.
- Document Verification and, where applicable, the local-language test will be conducted.
- Final selection is subject to eligibility verification and medical fitness.
