Eligibility Criteria
Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Candidates should have a relevant Master’s Degree in subjects including Plant Pathology, Entomology, Nematology, Agricultural Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Plant Genetic Resources or Life Sciences from a recognized university with the prescribed Bachelor’s Degree qualification.
Candidates having a postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences with relevant specialization, along with the prescribed Bachelor’s/Master’s qualification, should have NET qualification and 2 years of relevant research experience, as specified in the notification.
Desirable experience: Molecular detection of plant viruses, fungi, bacteria, nematodes or insects, relevant research publications, and greenhouse crop-growing experience.
Laboratory Assistant
Candidates should possess a B.Sc. / Graduate Degree in Science. Relevant experience in agriculture, biotechnology laboratories, plant protection or crop growing is desirable.
