Selection Process

The selection of BC Supervisors will be conducted through an Interview.

  17. The Bank will reimburse the registration fee for IIBF-BC certification once after successful completion of the course.
  18. Retired bank staff who have already completed JAIIB/CAIIB are excluded from the IIBF BC certification requirement.
  19. TDS will be deducted from monthly remuneration as per applicable Income Tax rules.
  20. The Bank reserves the right to fill or not fill the advertised position.

Leave Rules

BC Supervisors are eligible for:

  • Maximum 3 days’ leave in a month.
  • Up to 30 days of paid leave in a calendar year.
  • Leave entitlement is calculated at 2.5 days for each completed month from the date of joining.
  • More than 3 days’ leave requires at least 7 days’ notice.
  • Extra Ordinary Leave on Loss of Pay (ELOP) may be granted in specified exceptional circumstances, subject to the conditions in the notification.

Roles & Responsibilities of BC Supervisor

The BC Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring and supporting BC Agents in the assigned area.

Key duties include:

  • Monitoring BC Agents through the BC Dashboard, telephone calls and online meetings.
  • Fixing targets and monitoring performance.
  • Ensuring banking services are available in identified villages/SSAs.
  • Educating BCs regarding their roles and responsibilities.
  • Addressing customer and BC grievances.
  • Conducting village/SSA meetings.
  • Visiting allocated villages and BC points at least once a month.
  • Ensuring BCs remain active during working hours.
  • Monitoring transactions at BC points.
  • Preventing unauthorized/offline transactions.
  • Supporting cross-selling of Bank and third-party products.
  • Supporting recovery of Bank dues.
  • Conducting financial literacy sessions.
  • Organizing financial inclusion camps.
  • Collecting customer feedback.
